TREES PLANTED WITHIN FIVE FEET C5') OF HARDSCAPE OR STRUCTURES SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH A ROOT BARRIER AS APPROVED BY THE OWNER'S AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE. SOILS ANALYSIS & RECOMMENDATIONS October 19, 2019 Rios Design Studio Project - Tract # 7335 Location - Allen and Windemere The soil analysis report is from Midwest Labs. The analysis and sample indicate a loam Texture. Organic values are very low. The nitrogen, phosphorus values high, and potassium values low. Consider fertilizers low in NAP values. The first number on the soil test that stands out to me is the pH, which is at 8.3. Ideally, you want the pH to be closer to 7.0. The Live Earth Humate Soil Conditioner is pet 3.0. Reducing the soil pH will also increase the availability of fertilizers already in the soil. By lowering the pH phosphorus becomes more available to the plant, decreasing plant loss. Sodium values are very high and will affect young plants. Apply Live Earth O liquid 6% humic acid at 32 oz per 1000sq ft or approx. 10 gallon per acre for a total of three times. This will help buffer the concentrated levels of sodium, as well as, mitigate the negative effects on young plants and seed germination. Magnesium and manganese values are low, a corrective manufactured rate is recommended during soil amendments and maintenance program. Complete site recommendations and rates for soil amending: A.
