AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADDING CHAPTER 12.21 TO THE
BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
SKATEBOARD AND BICYCLE RAMPS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Chapter 12.21 is hereby added to the Bakersfield
Municipal Code to read as follows:
Chapter 12.21

SKATEBOARD AND BICYCLE RAMPS
12.21.010 Prohibited Acts.
12.21.020 Violation - Penalty.
12.21.010 Prohibited Acts.
It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to
place, erect or maintain, or to permit the placing, erection, main-
tenance or existence of any skateboard or bicycle ramp upon, over
or under any street, avenue, lane, alley, sidewalk, court, public
way, public property or public right-of-way, now open or dedicated
or which may hereafter be opened or dedicated to public use within
the City, or upon, over or under any property belonging to the
City.
12.21.020 Violation - Penalty.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this
Chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction
thereof shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding three hundred
dollars ($300.00) or by imprisonment not exceeding one hundred
fifty (150) days in the County jail or by both such fine and
imprisonment.
