NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 5.12.040 G.2.
OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO FEES FOR OPERATION OF BINGO GAMES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 5.12.040 G.2. of the Bakersfield Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
5.12.040 License - Application - Contents.
G. Fees.
2. An additional fee of one percent of the monthly gross
revenues over five thousand dollars derived from bingo games will
be due and payable at the time the financial report, pursuant to
Section 5.12.220, is required.
SECTION 2.
The above amendment is hereby declared to be a restate-
ment of such section as originally adopted, a misprint of which
was subsequently codified, and to be consistent with existing law.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage.
