RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ADOPTING THE
STREET CUT WORKMANSHIP AND
PERFORMANCE WARRANTY FEE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 12.16 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code requires
the City Council adopt a resolution establishing a workmanship and
9rformance warranty fee for street cuts; and
WHEREAS, this workmanship and performance warranty fee has
r ;mained the same since it was first implemented on October 22, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the Construction Cost Index has increased by 12.9% since
Cctober, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to adjust this fee for inflation in
:ordance with the Construction Cost Index.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
~ersfie d as follows:
The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated
herein.
That the fee schedule for the workmanship and performance
warranty fee set forth as Exhibit "A' is hereby approved and
adopted.
The effective date of this resolution, and the workmanship and
performance warranty fee, shall be November 1,2002.
