B-CARES Update
The City has now approved and awarded more than $5.6 million in B-CARES small
business assistance grants, well beyond the initial allocation of $3 million the City
made to the program when it launched in September! Our staff in the Finance
Department continues to process applications, with another 52 applications in the
final review phase. To date, the City has awarded 912 local businesses with grants.
We are extremely proud of the success of this program, and of the hard work our staff
has put in to create and execute it in such a short period. Thank you to all involved in
