daily rates. It turns out despite some downturn, we’re faring better than the state and the rest of the country. Check out the entire report here.
The City is asking for community feedback about the Transformative Climate Communities Plan which will help revitalize the Downtown, Old Town Kern, Oleander,

Resources Corporation (the “Company”) is implementing a layoff. This notification is regarding the
Company’s CRC Plaza facility at 900 Old River Road, Bakersfield, CA 93311 and other facilities in the Bakersfield area. Affected employees will receive Notice pay for 60 days starting on dates ranging from
today through April 1, 2021 with such employees released from reporting for work during that period.
Their employment with the Company will end after the 60-day Notice pay period, at which time they will be
eligible to receive severance pay under the company’s severance plan. The Company anticipates that these
layoffs will be permanent.
It is anticipated that approximately 50 positions will be impacted by the layoff at these facilities in
your jurisdiction. The job classifications impacted are detailed in the attached notice that was
provided to affected employees.
This notice is based on the best information currently available to us. Affected employees will not have any
bumping rights; in other words, they will not have the right to take another staff member’s job. The affected
employees are not represented by a union.
Should you have any questions, please contact me at (562) 999-8501 or dan.watts@crc.com.
