THIS COVENANT is executed on this i�& day of

E SFIELD SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF
CRUELTY TO ANIMALS (hereinafter, "Owner"), in connection with the
grant of $450,000 b�y the City of Bakersfield for building
improvements on the herein -described property, located in an
unincorporated area of the County of Kern.
The real property herein -described has been granted funds
for improvements by the City of Bakersfield, even though the
property is not located within the City. As a condition of the
grant of such funds for improvements on this property, the property
shall be annexed into the City of Bakersfield as soon as it may be
included in an annexation which is contiguous to city boundaries,
and neither Owner, nor future owners of the herein -described
property may protest such annexation.
This covenant may not be amended . or modified without the
prior approval of the City of Bakersfield. This covenant shall run
with the land.

Commencing at the Northwest corner of the West half of the Southwest quarter
of Section 36, Township 29 South, Range 28 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian,
in the County of Kern, State of California, running thence North 890 31' East
along the North line of said West half of southwest quarter of said Section 36,
a distance of 1324.3 feet, more or less, to the Northeast corner thereof, running
