NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SUBSECTION C. OF
SECTION 12.56.150 OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUNI-
CIPAL CODE RELATING TO PARKS (INDEMNIFICATION
AND INSURANCE).
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Subsection C. of Section 12.56.150 of the Bakersfield
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
12.56.150 Indemnification and insurance.
C. The policy or policies shall provide commercial
general liability insurance, including the broad form CGL endorse-
ment, providing coverage on an occurence basis for bodily injury,
including death, of one or more persons, property damage and
personal injury, with limits of not less than $1,000,000 per
occurrence.
Unless the policy or policies of insurance are main-
tained in full force and effect, a permittee shall have no rights
or privileges under such a permit. Such policy or policies shall
be issued by a company authorized in this state to issue such
policies. Permittee shall submit a certificate of proof concern-
ing his/her insurance coverage to the park director.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City Charter provisions and shall be come effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on November 30, 1988 , by the
