AMENDMENT NO.2 TO RESOLUTION NO. 083-07
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
AMENDING THE PANAMA AND UNION PLANNED
SEWER AREA FEE SCHEDULE AND BOUNDARY.
(WARD 1)
THIS AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO RESOLUTION 083-07 is made
on MAY 119--2021 , by the City of Bakersfield, a charter city and a municipal
corporation (referred to herein as "CITY") adopting the amended boundary and fee
schedule for the Panama and Union Planned Sewer Area.
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution of Intention No. 2084, adopted May
5, 2021, in the Council chambers in the City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield,
California, identified the amended fee schedule and boundary of the Panama and
Union Planned Sewer Area; and
WHEREAS, new schools & residential development in the area has
brought a need to amend the existing boundary of the Panama and Union PSA
as shown on Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, the existing sewer lift station at Berkshire Road, and other main
sewer lines in the existing system have sufficient capacity to accept additional
sewer flow from the amended area; and
WHEREAS, the proposed additional Planned Sewer Area fees set forth in
Exhibit "B", attached hereto and incorporated by reference, do not exceed
the reasonable estimated cost to provide sewer services to the amended
area; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the revised fee schedule and
amended boundary for the planned sewer area represents current needs and
costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield asfollows:
1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct and
incorporated herein by reference.
2. The Council hereby amends the boundary of the Panama
and Union Planned Sewer Area as shown on Exhibit "A" as a
replacement to the previously amended boundary for the
Panama and Union Planned Sewer Area.

3. The Council hereby finds the amended fee schedule
attached hereto as "Exhibit "B" shall be used for the
remaining undeveloped property within the PSA.
4. The amended fee schedule and amended boundary for the
Panama and Union Planned Sewer Area is hereby adopted.

by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on
