AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING CASA LOMA SPECIFIC PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Council, on February 11, 1987, approved
Segment VIII of Land Use Element Amendment 4-86, including an
amendment to the Casa Loma Specific Plan; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 17.06.060 of the Bakersfield
Municipal Code, the Casa Loma Specific Plan was adopted by
Ordinance No. 3063 New Series as the zoning standards and regu-
lations for the area covered by said Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Casa Loma Specific Plan was adopted by
ordinance pursuant to a state requirement for enterprise zone
designation and it is appropriate that amendments to such Plan
be by ordinance; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:

SECTION 1.
The Casa Loma Specific Plan is hereby amended to change
code 5.4 (Residential - maximum 4 units/net acre) to
5.3 (Residential - maximum 10 units/net acre) that real
shown on the attached map and described as follows:
SEGMENT VIII
The CITY OF BAKERSFIELD is proposing to
amend the Land Use Element of the
Bakersfield Metropolitan Area General Plan
and the Casa Loma Specific Plan from 5.4
(Residential - maximum 4 units/net acre) to
5.3 (Residential - maximum 10 units/net
acre) for 15.27 +/- acres generally
located east of Cottonwood Road, between
Casa Loma Drive and Watts Drive.
Being more particularly described as follows:
FROM 5.4 (RESIDENTIAL - MAXIMUM 4 UNITS/
NET ACRE) TO 5.3 (RESIDENTIAL - MAXIMUM
T0 UNITS/NET ACRE) FOR 10.5 ACRES:
The north 985.00 feet of Lot 9 as shown
on the sales map of the Kern County Land
Company in Section 9, Township 30 south,
Range 28 east, M.D.B.&M filed for record
April 20, 1894 in the Office of the
County Recorder of said Kern County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROVI, all that area
