Oils containing total organic halides > 1,000 PPM and not rebutted will not be received by BTI facility. 4) pH is only measured when there is a separated water layer. 5) If when rising a halogen test kit (EPA Method 9077), the sample turns clear or light gray, there may be too much water in the sample for this kit. Then, the Dexsil Hydroclor -Q (or equivalent) kit should be used.
