PURPOSE: 1) To calculate the secondary containment volume for Unit 1 (Tank Farm) at the Bakersfield
Transfer Facility. The Area includes four 20,000 - gallon tanks. The secondary contaiment
requirements for Unit 1 equal 20,000 gallons plus the volume of rainfall from a 24 -hour, 25 -year
rainstorm.
