A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF .THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD DEDICATING PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY WITHIN
CITY PROPERTY FOR A FUTURE PARK SITE ADJACENT TO
TRACTS 7140 & 7342.
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield (City) owns property upon which is a site
for a future City park on Mountain Ridge Drive between Berkshire Road and
McCutchen to be operated and maintained by the City of Bakersfield Recreation
& Parks Department; and
WHEREAS, said property was deeded to the City per document. recorded
April 7, 2006 and is described in Grant Deed filed with the Kern County Recorder's
office as Document No. 0206085541; and
WHEREAS, the City has received a request by the developers of Tentative
Tract 7140 and 7342 to dedicate road right-of-way for portions of Lombroso Street
and Versace Avenue as required by Conditions of Approval for said tracts; and
WHEREAS, the street dedication is required in order to construct Lombroso
Street and Versace Avenue per said tract design conditions within and along the
West and South side of City property; and
WHEREAS, the City proposes to dedicate a portion of the City property as
a public street ("Dedicated Property"); and .

A, RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD DEDICATING PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY WITHIN

WHEREAS, said Dedicated Property is described in Exhibits "A" and "B" for
Lombroso Street within Tract 7140 Phase 3 and Exhibits "C" & "D" for Lombroso
Street and Versace Street within Tract 7342 Phase 1 attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
follows:
1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct and are incorporated
herein by reference.
2. The City of Bakersfield hereby dedicates to the public a right-of-way
over the Dedicated Property as described in Exhibit "A", "B", "C" & "D" for use as a
public street.
