AMENr>MENT NO_ 1 TO RESOLUTION NO_ 100-19 A
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELU ADOPTING THE INVESTMENT POLICY
(COUNCIL POLICY 4.4).
WHEREAS, the COIJncA of the City of Bclkersfielcl adopted Resolution No. 58-
96 thereby adopting o City Council Policy and Procedural Manual ("Monuol"
herein); oncl
WHEREAS, Manucol serves cls o guideline to govern the actions, conduct and
business of the City of Bakersfield and its City Council; and
WHEREAS, certain policies and procedures of MclnucA hove become
antiquated and require either cicorificotion, updating, or repeal; and
WHEREAS, City Council directed City Attorney to update Chapter Four of
Monuol.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVES by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows=
1 . The above recitals ore true and correct and incorporated herein by
reference.
2. Resolution No. 100-19 re: INVESTMENT POLICY is hereby updated and
amended to read os follows:
The Council of the City of Bclkersfield hereby commits to adopting on
annual Investment Policy.
3. This Resolution shall become effective and in full force upon final
passage_
