RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AnOPTING NEW FEES FOR
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS
WHEREAS, state low requires new fees and chclrges and increases in existing
fees and charges be adopted by ordinance or resolution following o public
hearing on said fees and charges; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 3.70 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code authorizes the
establishment and increase of fees under the cost recovery system; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council was advertised twice in
the Bakersfield Californian, a newspaper of general circulation; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held to receive evidence and hear all
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed rate increases; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hos considered information presented at the
public hearing, the public comments, and written protests.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEn by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
CAS follows;
1 . The above recitals and findings are true Gond correct clnd ore
incorporated herein by reference_
2_ The Council finds that insufficient written protests were presented to
prevent the proposed changes_
3_ The Council adopts fees established in Exhibit "A", attached hereto_
4_ This Resolution is effective October 20, 2021 _
