CODE SECTION 7_72_030 BY AUr>ING ANNEXATION NO_ 703
TO WARS 3_
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo) adopted o
resolution for Annexation No_ 703 recently ordering the territory annexed to the City of
Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, the territory ordered to be annexed to the City of Bakersfield is
required to be within o City Council Word Boundary; and
WHEREAS, the LAF(--o recently completed the annexation for the territory
to the City of Bakersfield, the exterior boundaries of- Annexation No_ 703 which is
described in the attached Exhibit A and shown in the attached Exhibit B, attco-hed
hereto Gond incorporo ted as though fully set forth) herein_
as follows
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OROAINEI> by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
Section l _
All of the foregoing recitals ore hereby found to be true and correct_
Section 2_
Annexation No. 703 shall be included in Ward 3-
112030 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is hereby amended by
adding thereto the legal description set forth in Exhibit A.
Section 4_
This ordinance shall be posted in accordo nce with the Bakersfield
Municipal Code and shall become effective upon the annexation of the above-
described territory to the City of Bakersfield, but not less than thirty (30) days from and
after the dote of its pcossage_
