YOUTH COMMISSION
MINUTES
MEETING OF JUNE 28, 2021
Conference Room B, City Hall South, 1600Truxtun Avenue
Regular Meeting - 4:00 P.M.
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Samuel Baldovinos, Kevin Dewey, Braedon Burrow, Gina Yum,
Isaac Morgan
Alternate Members: Emily Bell, and Aditya Kakarla
Absent: Riley Dison, Elizabeth Calley, Sanjna Mizar
2. PUBLIC STATEMENTS
None.
3. SUMMARY REPORT
a. Adoption of the May 24, 2021Youth Commission Minutes.
Motion by Commissioner Morgan Second by Commissioner Baldovinos to
Approve. Motion was unanimously approved with Commissioner Dison absent.
b. Adoption of the May 21, 2021 Youth Commission Minutes.
Motion by Commissioner Morgan Second by Commissioner Bell to Approve.
Motion was unanimously approved with Commissioner Dison absent.
4. NEW BUSINESS
a. Youth Commission preview and approval of the 2021 PSA
project Staff recommends approval of the final video cut of the
2021Youth Commission PSA project.
Motion by Commissioner Morgan Second by Commissioner Burrow
to Approve. Motion was unanimously approved with Commissioner
Dison absent.
5. STAFF COMMENTS
Nathan Gutierrez thanked the group for their hard work and
participation.
Assistant City Clerk Legge stated job well done.
Deputy City Attorney Zambrano Thanked everyone for following the
rules.
6. COMMISSION COMMENTS
Commissioner Dewey thanked everyone who was at the last
meeting.
Commissioner Yum stated it’s been a great three years, glad it
worked out.
Commissioner Bell stated she enjoyed coming to the meetings.
Commissioner Burrow state it’s a great way to help others.

Meeting adjourned at 4:17 p.m.
