RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF SURPLUS
FIREBLAST TRAILERS AND PROPS TO
VICTOR VALLEY COLLEGE,
A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION
FOR ONE DOLLAR ($1.00) U.S.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses a flash -over trailer and two fire
training trailer props which are no longer serviceable for the City of Bakersfield Fire
Department; and
WHEREAS, Victor Valley College, a non-profit organization, desires to
receive the surplus equipment at a cost of one dollar ($1.00); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section
3.20.120(F) the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus
equipment to a non-profit organization;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein
by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to a flash -over trailer
and two fire training trailer props to Victor Valley College for one
dollar ($1.00)
