Yournextstepistoeitherapplyfornecessarybuildingpermitstoconstructyourproject,orbeginyourbusiness activitiesdependingontherequestsubmitted.YoumustsubmitfinalbuildingplanstotheBuildingDivision.TheSite PlanReviewCommitteewillreviewthesefinalplanswhilebuildingplancheckoccurstoensurethatyousatisfythe itemsintheSitePlanComplianceList.Pleasereadthemcarefully.Failuretosatisfyanitemmaydelayyourobtaining abuildingpermitorcommencingyourproject. EXPIRATIONOFPLANS Thissiteplanexpireson July8,2024(2yearsfromthedecisiondate),unlessbuildingpermitshavebeenissued,or wheretheusehascommencedonprojectsnotrequiringabuildingpermit.Theprojectmustbecompletedwithin5 yearsfromthedecisiondate.Ifthepropertyisrezoned,siteplanapprovalwillexpireupontheeffectivedateforthe rezoningunlesstheuseispermittedinthenewzone. ThePlanningDirectormayextendtheexpirationdateuptoone(1)yearifyouresubmitnewplansforcheckagainst thecoderequirementsineffectatthattimeandincludeawrittenrequestfortheextension.Wemustreceivethis request before expirationoftheprojectapproval.Wewillnotrequireafeeforthisextensionrequest;however, changestotheplansoriginallyapprovedforpurposesotherthancoderequirementsshallbesubjecttoanewsiteplan review,includingpaymentofallrequiredfees(SeeSection17.08.080.DoftheZoningOrdinance). ENVIRONMENTALDETERMINATION ThissiteplanreviewhasbeenfoundtobeexemptfromtheprovisionsoftheCaliforniaEnvironmentalQualityAct (CEQA)andtheCityofBakersfield'sCEQAImplementationProceduresinaccordancewithSection15303,New ConstructionorConversionofSmallStructures.ThisexemptionincludesClass3projectsconsistingoftheconstruction andlocationoflimitednumbersofnew,smallfacilitiesorstructures;installationofsmallnewequipmentandfacilities insmallstructures;andtheconversionofexistingsmallstructuresfromoneusetoanotherwhereonlyminor modificationsaremadeintheexteriorofthestructure.ANoticeofExemptionhasbeenpreparedandisavailablefor reviewatthePlanningDivision.
