RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF MISC. EQUIPMENT TO
FARMWORKERS INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION & LEADERSHIP
DEVELOPMENT (FIELD), NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR
ONE DOLLAR ($1.00).
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses miscellaneous equipment which
cannot be utilized for City use; and
WHEREAS, Farmworkers Institute of Education & Leadership Development
(FIELD), a non-profit organization desires to receive the surplus items at a cost of
one dollar ($1.00); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section
3.20.120(F) the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus
equipment to a non-profit organization; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; by the Council of .the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein
by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell miscellaneous
equipment. to Farmworkers Institute of Education & Leadership .
Development (FIELD) for one dollar ($1.00)
