AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO RESOLUTION NO. 085-2020 A
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD'S
APPLICATION FOR SB 2 PERMANENT LOCAL HOUSING
ALLOCATION PROGRAM FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 085-2020 on June 24,
2020, authorizing the City of Bakersfield's application for SB 2 Permanent Local
Housing Allocation (PLHA) Program Funds; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 085-2020 designated the Development Services
Director as an authorized signatory; and
WHEREAS, the Economic and Community. Development Department
assumed responsibility for the SB 2 PHLA Program Funds; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to designate the Director of Economic and
Community Development as an authorized signatory instead of the Development
Services Director.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and incorporated herein by
reference.
2. Section No. 10 of the Resolution is hereby amended to read as follows:
10. Economic and Community Development Director or designee
and the City Manager or designee are authorized to execute
the PLHA Program Application, the PLHA Standard Agreement
and any subsequent amendments or modifications thereto, as
well as any other documents which are related to the Program
or the PLHA grant awarded to Applicant, as the Department
may deem appropriate.
3. Except as amended herein, all provisions of Resolution No. 085-2020
shall remain in full force and effect.
4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
