AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFI~T.n ADDING SECTION
2.32.100 AND SUBSECTION L. TO SECTIO~
2.36.020 OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO POLICE AND FIRE
RESERVES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 2.32.100 is hereby added to the Bakersfield
Municipal Code to read as follows:
2.32.100 Reimbursement of expenses.
The fire chief may, in his discretion, authorize
reimbursement of any person in the reserves for mileage at the
standard city rate and other out-of-pocket expenses incurred in
the course of duties as a member of the reserves.
SECTION 2.
Subsection L. is hereby added to Section 2.36.020 of
the Bakersfield Municipal Code to read as follows:
2.36.020 Police reserve.
L. The police chief may, in his discretion, authorize
reimbursement of any person in the reserves for mileage at the
standard city rate and other out-of-pocket expenses incurred in
the course of duties as a member of the reserve.
SECTION 3.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage.
