AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADDING CHAPTER 15.50 TO THE
BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE ~?.~TIN~ TO PAY
TOILETS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Chapter 15.50 is hereby added to the
Municipal Code to read as follows:
Chapter 15.50
PAY TOILETS
Sections:
15.50.010
15.50.020
Bakersfield
Definitions.
Pay toilets prohibited.
15.50.010 Definitions.
Whenever used in this chapter, unless a different meaning
clearly appears from the context, the words set forth in this
section shall have the following meanings:
A. "Pay toilet" means any toilet facility for which
payment of consideration is necessary before such facility may be
used.
B. "Person" means any individual, partnership,
corporation or association of any nature whatsoever.
15.50.020 Pay toilets prohibited.
It is unlawful for any person to maintain or permit to
be maintained a pay toilet in the city.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
