RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF SCBAS
TO BAKERSFIELD COLLEGE, A NON- PROFIT
ORGANIZATION FOR ONE DOLLAR ($1.00)
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses fifty (50) surplus self-contained
breathing apparatus (SCBA) which are no longer serviceable for the City of
Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, Bakersfield College, a non-profit organization, desires to receive
the surplus SCBAS at a cost of one dollar ($1.00); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section
3.20.120(F) the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus
equipment to a non-profit organization;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein
by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell fifty (50) SCBAS
to Bakersfield College for one dollar ($1.00)
