RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF SCBA MASKS
TO ORANGE COVE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT,
A NON- PROFIT ORGANIZATION
FOR ONE DOLLAR ($1.00)
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses fifteen (15) Surplus self-contained
breathing apparatus (SCBA) masks which are no longer serviceable for the City
of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, Orange Cove Fire Protection District, a non-profit organization,
desires to receive the surplus SCBA masks at a cost of one dollar ($1.00): and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section
3.20.120(F) the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus
equipment to a non-profit organization;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein
by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell fifteen (15)
SCBA masks to Orange Cove Fire Protection District for one dollar
($1.00)
