This week Rec. & Parks completed installation of playground equipment at Granite Pointe Park in Ward 7. Representatives from the Ventura County Community Development Corporation were on hand to lead the workshop, discussing the ins and outs of the Hope to Home program. The program is awarded to state and local governments and designed exclusively to create affordable housing for low-income households. The program locally is administered through the VCCDC. Youth Commission continues donation drive to help support fellow students in need The City's Youth Commission will continue accepting donations and raising funds for fellow students in need at the Haggin Oaks Farmers Market, 8800 Ming Ave. on Sunday, March 19.
