AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION A OF SECTION
17.64.070 ~ND REPEALING SUBSECTION C OF SEC-
TION 17.64~070 OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO MODIFICATIONS·
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
follows: I
SECTION 1
Subsection A of!Section 17.64.070 of the·Bakersfield Munici-
pal Code is hereby a~ended to read as follows·
17.64.070 Heari~q.- Decision and findinqs - Grant or denial
of application.
A. Rendering Decision. The board of zoning adjustment
shall render its decision at a public meeting after the conclu-
sion of the public hearing on the matter. The failure of said
board to render such decision shall be deemed to constitute a
denial.
SECTION 2.
Subsection C Notice of Decision, of Section 17.64.070 of the
Bakersfield Municipal Code is hereby repealed, and Subsections D,
E, F, G, H, I and J are hereby relettered as Subsections C, D, E,
F, G, H and I, respectively.
