ORDINANCE NO.
E AMENDING SECTION 1.12.040 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO WARD
WARD 4).
WHEREAS, the iCouncil of the City of Bakersfield adopted Resolution No.
34-92 (Meacham No. 1 Annexation) on March 11, 1992, ordering the territory annexed
to the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, the iterritory ordered to be annexed to the City of Bakersfield
is required to be within a Cou!ncilmanic Ward Boundary; and
WHEREAS, the ~Council recently completed annexation of the territory to
the City of Bakersfield, the exterior boundaries of which are described in Exhibit "A"
and as shown in Exhibit "B", a~ttached hereto and incorporated as though full set forth
herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
Section 1.
All of the foregoing recitals are hereby found to be true and correct.
Section 2.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the Bakersfield
Municipal Code and shall become effective upon the annexation of the above-described
territory to the City of Bakersfield, but not less than thirty (30) days from and after the
date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on
