RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF MISC. EQUIPMENT TO
SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS
(SPCA), NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR ONE DOLLAR
($1.00).
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses miscellaneous equipment which
cannot be utilized for City use; and
WHEREAS, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), a non-
profit organization desires to receive the surplus items at a cost of one dollar
($1.00); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section
3.20.120(F) the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus
equipment to a non-profit organization.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein
by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell miscellaneous
equipment to Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA)
for one dollar ($1.00).
