5.CONSENT PUBLIC HEARINGS
Ward 1 a.Vesting Tentative Parcel Map 12498 (Phased): Kier & Wright is
proposing to subdivide 141.46 acres into four industrial parcels and
one designated remainder located at the southwest corner of East
Belle Terrace and South Mt Vernon Avenue in southeast Bakersfield.
Notice of Exemption on file. Continued from September 21, 2023.
Staff recommends a two week continuance to October 19, 2023.
6.NON-CONSENT PUBLIC HEARINGS
Ward 4 a.Appeal of Site Plan Review No. 21-0399. The Channel Law Group,
LLP, on behalf of Progress for Bakersfield Veterans, LLC, submitted
an appeal to the Development Services Director's Approval of Site
Plan Review No. 21-0399 for a Department of Veterans Affairs
Community-Based Outpatient Clinic located at 5512 Knudsen
Drive. Environmental Impact Report is on file.
Staff recommends denying appeal and upholding Development
Service Director's decision to approve SPR No. 21-0399.
