Church\06_NOPH\NOPH_TJ\CUP 23-0288_NOPH (002).docx NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Planning Commission of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2023, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following: Conditional Use Permit 23-0288: Porter & Associates, Inc. representing Olive Branch Community Church, is requesting a conditional use permit to allow a private school, to include two multi-use modular buildings totaling 9,600 square foot, outdoor learning space with garden, and playground, at an existing church (BMC 17.36.025) on a 6.81-acre parcel zoned R-1-CH (One Family Dwelling – Church Overlay) zone, located at 12000 Olive Drive. An Addendum to the Mitigated Negative Declaration will also be considered. (Ward 4) All written comments must be received by the Planning Division, located at 1715 Chester Avenue, Bakersfield CA, on or before the public hearing date/time indicated above. You may review and/or obtain copies of all public documents at the Planning Division. If you challenge the action taken on a specific project in court, you may be limited to addressing only those issues raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Bakersfield.
