3. ADOPTION OF THE APRIL 27, 2023, AGENDA SUMMARY REPORT
Motion by Councilmember Gonzales to adopt the April 27, 2023, Agenda Summary
Report. Motion unanimously approved.
4. NEW BUSINESS
A. Committee Discussion and Recommendation regarding a legislative update
from the Renne Public Policy Group.
(Staff recommends receive and file presentation.)
Assistant to the City Manager Valdez made staff comments.
City Clerk Drimakis announced a staff memorandum was received transmitting
additional background materials for item 4.a.
Motion by Councilmember Gonzales to support SB423 for City Council action. Motion
unanimously approved.
Committee discussion and recommendations regarding staff review of Fireworks
Education and Enforcement Review.
(Staff recommends receive and file presentation and Committee direction.)
Fire Chief Frando made staff comments and provided a PowerPoint
Presentation.

None.
6. ADJOURNMENT
