HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 144-19(3)RESOLUTION NO. 144-19(3) AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO RESOLUTION 144-19 APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING "MOU" SETTING SALARIES AND RELATED BENEFITS FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF THE BAKERSFIELD POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION. WHEREAS, Resolution No. 144-19 sets salaries and related benefits for employees of the Police Units. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield that: 1. Effective immediately, Section 7.03.00 attached to Resolution No. 144-19(1), titled "Other Compensation" is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 7.03.03 Retention Incentive Effective January 29, 2024, members represented under the agreement, hired into the unit on or after 1 /1 /2011, will receive a $200.00 retention incentive paid bi-weekly ($5,200 annually) commencing the beginning of their sixth (6th) year from appointment to sworn service. Incentive is not payable if no earnings in a pay period. Retention incentive is not reportable compensation. Prior service or academy time does not count towards eligibility periods. 2.
