NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning Commission of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on THURSDAY, MARCH 21 , 2024, in the Council
Chambers of City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following:
Conditional Use Permit 23-0306. Inland Architects, representing Pomelo Trust LA LLC,
Michael Hariri, is requesting a conditional use permit for the development of multi-family
housing with 2 one-bedroom units and 2 studio apartments (B.M.C. 17.22.040.2) on a
0.17-acre parcel zoned C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial) located at the southwest
corner of Kentucky Street and Gage Street. A Notice of Exemption from the California
Environmental Quality Act has been prepared. (Ward 2)
All written comments must be received by the Planning Division. located at 1715 Chester
Avenue, Bakersfield CA, on or before the public hearing date/time indicated above. You may
review and/or obtain copies of all public documents at the Planning Division. If you challenge
the action taken on a specific project in court, you may be limited to addressing only those
issues raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City of
Bakersfield.
