The initial phase of launching this new ERP system will begin in March 2024. The launch of these new systems will require a nine-day “blackout” period during which certain functions will be unavailable. The blackout period is set to begin at 3 p.m. on March 15 and last until March 24. Functions that will be unavailable during the blackout include payment transactions for Business licenses, special events and/or business permits, planning and building applications, building permits, inspections, pet licenses. Also during that period, City of Bakerseld cashiering stations – including City Hall North (1600 Truxtun Avenue) – will be ofine and unavailable for taking any of the transactions listed above. During this time, the City will also delay payments to vendors as well. Online payments for Solid Waste and Wastewater billing will continue as normal. Business transactions for the City of Bakerseld Animal Care Center will remain operating as normal. On March 25, Oracle Financials and Teller Cashiering will go live. The City thanks the public for its patience and understanding as these improvements are completed. The Sound of What's Happening!
