NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning Commission of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on MAY 2, 2024, in the Council Chambers of City
Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following:
Revised Planned Development Review No. 24-0186. DeWalt Corporation, representing MPS
Construction Management Consulting, LLC , is requesting a Revised Planned Development
Review to allow the development of a car wash, convenience store with fuel, and a fast
food restaurant on 6.51 acres in the C-2/PCD (General Commercial/Planned Commercial
Development) zone district, located at the southeast corner of S. H Street and Hosking
Avenue. A Notice of Exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act has been
prepared. (Ward 7)
All written comments must be received by the Bakersfield Planning Division, 1715 Chester
Avenue, Bakersfield; (661) 326-3733 on or before the public hearing date/time indicated above.
You may review and/or obtain copies of all public documents at the Planning Division. If you
challenge the action taken on a specific project in court, you may be limited to addressing only
those issues raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City of
Bakersfield.
