NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning Commission of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on THURSDAY, MAY 2, 2024, in the Council
Chambers of City Hall, 1501 Truxtun A venue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following:
Director Review and Approval Permit 23-0490. Eukon Group, representing
Kathleen Johnson (property owner), is requesting a Director Review and Approval
Permit for a 65-foot tall monopine wireless telecommunication facility with ancillary
equipment (BMC 17.59) on a 1,225 square foot portion of a 2.03-acre parcel zoned
Agriculture (Agriculture zone) district, located at 1125 Calamity Lane. A Notice of
Exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act has been prepared.

All written comments must be received by the Planning Division, located at 1715 Chester
Avenue, Bakersfield CA, on or before the public hearing date/time indicated above. You may
review and/or obtain copies of all public documents at the Planning Division. If you challenge
the action taken on a specific project in court, you may be limited to addressing only those
issues raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City of
Bakersfield.
