RESOLUTION AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ~LIST OF
DESIGNATED SPEED ZONES.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakers~eld, pursuant to Sections 22357
and 22358 of the Califomia Vehicle Code and Chapter 10.24 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code,
desires to enact prima facie speed limits on portions of a roadway within the City of Bakersfield;
and
WHEREAS, said prima facie speed limits are being established for streets in the
City of Bakersfield after traffic engineering surveys were conducted; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ZRESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. The foregoing recitals are true and incorporated herein.
2. Under provisions of Sections 22357 and 22358 of the Califbrnia Vehicle
Code, the prima facie speed limit for the following streets; or portions thereof, are hereby
determined and declared to be as shown below, and shall be included in the official City "List of
Speed Zones:"
