CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL MEETING - 2:00 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL Present: Chairman Palla, Board Members Lundquist and Smith 3. PUBLIC STATEMENTS None. 4. NEW BUSINESS A. Approval of Memorandum of Understanding between Kern Walter Collaborative and Groundwater Sustainability Agencies in the Kern Subbasin. Steve Teglia, General Manager, Kern Delta Water District, made staff comments. Motion by Board Member Lundquist, seconded by APPROVED Board Member Smith, to approve subject to the Managers review and approval of the final document. B. Discussion and possible action to (a) approve final draft amendments to Groundwater Sustainability Plan and supporting appendix of projects and management actions for the Groundwater Sustainability Agency, (b) authorize their submission by the Kern County Subbasin Point of Contact to the State Water Resources Control Board before May 29 for review by SWRCB staff, and (c) authorize their release for public review and comment Steve Teglia, General Manager, Kern Delta Water, made staff comments.
