HomeMy WebLinkAboutZoning Mod. 24-0209 O St & 19thBAKERSFIELD THE SOUND OF f;~ 1fe/;f_er NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Planning Commission of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on THURSDAY, JUNE 20, 2024, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following: Zoning Modification 24-0209. Elevate Architecture, representing Saguaro Investments LLC (property owner), is requesting a zone modification to waive parking requirements (BMC 17.58.110.13), where a minimum of 131 spaces are required for a mixed food container park and restaurant. The project spans four parcels in the C-C (Civic Center) zone located at the northeast corner of O Street & 19th Street. A finding that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act will also be considered. (Ward 2) All written comments must be received by the Planning Division, located at 1715 Chester Avenue, Bakersfield CA, on or before the public hearing date/time indicated above. You may review and/or obtain copies of all public documents at the Planning Division . If you challenge the action taken on a specific project in court, you may be limited to addressing only those issues raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Bakersfield.
