AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION
3.70.020, SUBSECTION B OF SECTION
3.70.050, AND SUBSECTION B OF SECTION
3.70.070, AND AMENDING SUBSECTION G
OF SECTION 14.04.110 OF THE BAKERS-
FIELD MUNICIPAL CODE ALL RELATING TO
FEE AND SERVICE CHARGE REVENUE /
COST COMPARISON SYSTEM
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 3.70.020 of Chapter 3.70 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code entitled
"Delegation of authority" is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2.
Subsection B of Section 3.70.050 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3.
Subsection B of Section 3.70.070 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is hereby
repealed.
SECTION 4.
Subsection G of Section 14.04.110 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
14.04.110 Conditions for discontinuance -- Restoration of service -- Fees.
G. Restoration-Reconnection Charge. When water service has been
discontinued for noncompliance with a section of the Bakersfield Municipal Code, a
restoration-reconnection fee will be assessed pursuant to Chapter 3.70 herein.
SECTION 5.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the Bakersfield Municipal Code
and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after the date of its passage.
