Motion by Commissioner Bashirtash, seconded by Commissioner Lomas, to approve Consent Calendar Non-Public Hearing Item 4.a with staff recommendation. Extension of Time for Revised Vesting Tentative Tract Map 6352: McIntosh & Associates requests an extension of time for Revised Vesting Tentative Tract Map 6352 originally consisting of 463 single family residential lots, and 2 open space lots on 156.27 acres, zoned R-1 (One Family Dwelling) and O-S (Open Space), located south of Highway 178, east of Vineland Road. Motion approved with Commissioner Wade and Commissioner Bittle absent. NON-CONSENT PUBLIC HEARINGS RES NO 125-22 MOVED TO NON-CONSENT PUBLIC HEARINGS APPROVED WADE & BITTLE ABSENT a. Conditional Use Permit 22-0160: The Whisky requests a conditional RES NO 126-22 use permit to allow a Cocktail Lounge (17.24.040.A.8) in a C-2 (Regional Commercial) zone district, located at 9600 Retail Drive Suites 100 and 101. Notice of exemption on file. Continued from 12/1/2022. Staff report given. Public hearing open. Six people spoke in favor. One person spoke in opposition. Rebuttals given by each side. Public hearing closed. Commission deliberated. Motion by Commissioner Lomas, seconded by Vice-Chair Bashirtash, to approve Item 6.a. adding Condition No. 7 regarding designated smoking area. Motion approved with Commissioner Wade and Commissioner Bittle absent. b. Conditional Use Permit 22-0279: City Serve Network requests a conditional use permit to allow an emergency shelter in a M-1 (light Manufacturing) and a M-2(General Manufacturing) zone districts, 2.79 acres located at 3232 H Street. WORKSHOPS None. COMMUNICATIONS The meeting on January 5, 2023, is cancelled. There will be a regular meeting on January 19, 2023. COMMISSION COMMENTS Happy Holidays from all Commissioners.
