a. Approval of Minutes: Regular scheduled Planning Commission
meeting of November 2, 2023.
CONSENT PUBLIC HEARINGS
a. Director Review and Approval Permit No. 23-0299: Vertical Bridge
(applicant) representing Jaydev Patel (property owner) is
requesting a Director Review and Approval Permit for a 65-foot
tall monopine wireless telecommunications facility with ancillary
equipment (BMC 17.59) on a 1,625 square foot portion of a 34.34-
acre parcel zoned OS (Open Space), located at 6218 Sundale
Avenue. Notice of Exemption on file. Hearing continued from
Nov. 2, 2023. Staff recommends approval.

Public hearing remained open from November 2, 2023. Public hearing
closed. Motion by Commissioner Neal, seconded by Commissioner
Kaur, to approve Consent Public Hearing Item 5.a. incorporating all staff
memoranda and recommendations. Motion approved.
NON-CONSENT PUBLIC HEARINGS
a. Conditional Use Permit 23-0332: Ethosphere Studios (applicant),
representing Yenifer Rivera Romero (property owner), is requesting
a conditional use permit to allow a recycling center on a 0.49
parcel zoned C-2 (Regional Commercial) located within a state
recognized convenience zone at 600 Brundage Lane. Notice of
Exemption on file. Staff recommends denial.
Staff report given by Paul Johnson, Planning Director. Public hearing
opened. Three people spoke in favor of approving the recycling center.
Four people spoke in opposition of approving the recycling center. One
person gave a rebuttal in favor. Three people gave a rebuttal in
opposition. Public hearing closed. Planning Commission deliberated.
Motion by Commissioner Kaur, seconded by Commissioner Koman, to
accept staff's recommendation and deny Non-Consent Public Hearing
Item 6.a .. Motion approved.
COMMUNICATIONS
a. Planning Director Johnson announced the next Planning
Commission meeting will be December 21, 2023.
COMMISSION COMMENTS
a. Commissioner Neal thanked everyone in attendance.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Chair Bashirtash adjourned the meeting
at 7:06 p.m.
