NOTICE OF RIGHT TO APPEAL
Planning Commission decisions on Zone Changes, Parcel Maps and Tentative
Subdivision maps are subject to appeal by any person aggrieved. No permit shall
be issued for anyuse involved in an application until after the final acceptance
date of appeal.
Such appeal must be filed in writing within 10 days from date of hearing,
addressed to the City Council, c/o Office of the City Clerk, 1501 Truxtun Avenue,
Bakersfield, CA 93301. A $275 non-refundable filing fee must be included with
filing of the initial appeal. If all appeals are withdrawn prior to the City Council
'hearing, it will not be conducted and the decision of the Planning Commission
will stand.
If no appeal is received within the specified time period or if all appeals filed are
withdrawn, the action of the Planning Commission shall become final.

Proposed inclusion of the Canfield Ranch Oil Field as Class 3 permit in
Section 15.66.030(A.3:) of the Oilwell Ordinance.

Proposed ordinance to be added to the Bakersfield Municipal Code
(Chapter 15.66) relating to the drilling for and production of hydrocarbon
substances (petroleum, natural gas and related drilling/Production). This
new ordinance consolidates the regulations for drilling and/or production
into one .area of the code under the authority of the Fire Marshal. This
consolidation necessitates the repeal of associated sections from Title 17

PUBLIC HEARING - PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO DENSITY BONUS
· ORDINANCE
Proposed Ordinance adding Chapter 15.79 to the Bakersfield Municipal Code
relating to Density Bonuses. To comply with Section 65195 (c) of the California
Government Code, the City of Bakersfield is required to adopt an ordinance to
allow maximum residential densities to exceed applicable zoning and land use
designations and provide other regulatory concessions or incentives to developers
to encourage construction and continued affordability of housing for low or
qualifying income residents. Project will supersede expired Resolution #68-82,
establishing policy .for granting density bonus incentives to developers of housing
for low- or moderate-income families.
