Friday, July 5, 2024 Notable Items Trash, recycling services pushed back a day due to holiday Due to the Independence Day holiday, all trash and recycling services have been pushed back one day. If your normal pickup day is Thursday, you will have service Friday. Bakerseld Fire shares tips to stay safe during hot temperatures With temperatures on the rise and a heat wave potentially lasting through the middle of July, the Bakerseld Fire Department is sharing some tips from the National Weather Service to stay safe. Earlier this week Bakerseld Fire held a press conference at Station 1 to stress the importance for the community not to use illegal reworks and for them to be reported. The Condors were recently recognized at the 2024 American Hockey League Team Business Meetings in Chicago.
