PUBLIC HEARING - ZONE CHANGE #5541 -- APPLICATION BY Page 2 MARTIN-McINTOSH ENGINEERING TO AMEND THE ZONING BOUNDARIES FROM AN A (AGRICULTURE) ZONE TO AN R-3 (LIMITED MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING) ZONE ON 3.49 +/- ACRES LOCATED WEST OF THE SOUTHERLY EXTENSION OF EXISTING OLD RIVER ROAD ALIGNMENT, EAST OF THE WEST SECTION LINE OF o SECTION 17, T.30S., R.27E., M.D.B.&M., APPROXIMATELY 700 FEET SOUTH OF CAMPUS PARK DRIVE. Staff report was given. Public portion of the hearing was opened; no one spoke in opposition. Roger McIntosh represented the property owner. He stated concurrence with staff recommendation. Motion was made by Commissioner Slocumb, seconded by Commissioner Hersh to adopt resolution makinig findings as set forth in staff report approving the Negative Declaration, and approving Zone Change No. 5541 subject to the conditions of approval on Exhibit "A", and memorandum dated February' 14, 1994, and recommend same to the City Council. Motion carried by the following roll call vote: AYES: Commissioners Andrew, Delgado, Hersh, Messner, Slocumb NOES: None ABSENT: Commissioners Marino, Rosenlieb, Powers RESOLUTION VACATI~NG A PORTION OF A WAIVER OF DIRECT ACCESS FROM SOUTH ALLEN ROAD FROM SHOPPING CENTER o LOCATED AT 13001 STOCKDALE HIGHWAY This item was approved at the meeting of February 14, 1994.
