APPROVAL OF MINUTES No action taken. Minutes, PC, 1/3/94 Page 2 5.1 PUBLIC HEARING - CHANGE OF CONDITIONS - TENTATIVE TRACT 5.2 5226 Staff report was given, sfaff recommended this item be placed on the consent agenda. : PUBLIC HEARING - CHANGE OF CONDITIONS - TENTATIVE TRACT 7.1 7.2 5688 Commissioner Andrew abstained due to a conflict of interest because he was involved in the sale of the property. Staff report was given, lVtr. Lee, Staff Planner stated a request had been received for continuance of this item to the next regular meeting, however due to time constraints staff recommended it be continued to the first meeting of February. PUBLIC HEARING - TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP 9758 (REVISED) Staff report was given. Mt. Lee cited a correction to Finding #16 stating it is a reduction from the minimum lot width and also recommended this item be placed on the consent agenda. ~ Responding to question by Commissioner Rosenlieb, Mr. Hardisty said several versions of this map were brought forth in which one was possibly approved, however there was confusion over sewer lines, setbacks and ownership. Commissioner Rosenlieb risked for information regarding prior approval and comparison of conditions. PUBLIC HEARING - TENTATIVE TRACT 5597 Staff report was given. Staff recommended this item be placed on consent agenda. PUBLIC HEARING - TENTATIVE TRACT 5702 Commissioner Andrew abStained dUe to a conflict of interest because he was involVed in sale of the property. Staff report was given. Minutes, PC; 1/3/94 Page 3 7.3 Responding to question by Commissioner Rosenlieb, Mr. Kloepper indicated both the primary and secondary access would require paving. Condition #26 would be modified to require temporary paving of the secondary access due to utility installation at a later date. i Commissioner Rosenlieb stated her concern about the local traffic mitigation fee Of $72. per unit, when across the street the city is requiring nearly three times this amount. She felt the city should take a very close look at this. PUBLIC HEARING - TENTATIVE TRACT 5716 Commissioner Marino abstained due to a conflict of interest in that he is employed by the applicant. Staff report was given.. Mr. Movius made the Commission aware of two memoranda in addition to the staff report. Responding to question byl Commissioner Slocumb, Mr. Movius said alternate 3 is not preferrable to staff beqause it is at the end of the cul-de-sac, staff's feeling being that it would not adequately serve a large percentage of the tract. Staff feels Alternate 4 is closer to the concerns raised during discussion at the committee meeting. ~ Mr. Movius responded to question by Commissioner Slocumb that the term regarding adequate size does not take into account amenities to justify departure from the basic policy of 6,000 square foot lot size. 8.
