NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning Commission of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on THURSDAY, AUGUST 1, 2024, in the Council
Chambers of City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following:
Conditional Use Permit 24-0303 LinkEd Public Schools (applicant), representing
l 701 18th Street LLC (property owner), requests a conditional use permit to allow a charter
school (17.20.040.A.1 0)and after-school program (17 .26.090.A.6) for children in
g rades Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade in the C-C (Commercial
Center) zone district, located at 1701 and 1723 18th Street. (Ward 1)
All written comments must be received by the Planning Division, located at 1715 Chester
Avenue, Bakersfield CA, on or before the public hearing date/time indicated above. You may
review and/or obtain copies of all public documents at the Planning Division. If you challenge
the action taken on a specific project in court, you may be limited to addressing only those
issues raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City of
Bakersfield.
