Jill Kleiss asked for information concerning who reviews minutes before they are brought
· forth to the commission for approval, specifically with respect to October 17, 1996.
Chairman read the notice of right to appeal as set forth on the agenda.
3. CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS
Agenda Item #9.1 - General plan consistency finding - vacation of superseded
portions of road right-of-way at the northeast corner of Calloway Drive and
Brimhall Road.
Agenda Item #9.2 -General plan consistency finding - vacation of the future alley
easement reserved in Tract No. 1348.
Agenda Item #9.3 - General plan consistency finding - transfer of a portion of
city-owned drainage basin property to the United States Department of Interior,
Bureau of Reclamation for access to the Friant Kern Canal from Hageman Road.

12. COMMISSION COMMENTS
Chairman Delgado asked that staff have a very brief presentation with regard to the
minutes concerning procedure and responsibility for approval which Ms. Kleiss
addressed under the public statement section.
Mr. Grady stated he could provide that at this time stating the minutes are prepared in a
non-verbatim style, however the essence of what is stated in the hearing is included.
He stated he then reviews them and they are subsequently submitted to the Planning
Commission for changes, corrections and approval. Chairman Delgado asked if the
public has the opportunity to address an inconsistency. Mr. Grady stated he could recall
no occasion in which the public has challenged the content of any minutes. Mr. Grady
responded to questions by Chairman Delgado giving information concerning the
availability of minutes.
