Chairman read the notice of right to appeal as set forth on the agenda. CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS Applicant for Tentative Tracts 5650, 5844 and 5845 requested these items be placed on the consent calendar. Planning Director informed Commission of a request by staff, to place agenda item #'s 8.1, 8.2 and 8.4 on'the consent calendar and further commented that staff is requesting that item 8.3 be deleted from the agenda at this time. PUBLIC HEARING - NOTICE OF VIOLATION #2-96: 6601 AND 6605 DONNELL COURT Staff report recommending approval was given. MINUTES, PC, 8/12/96 ..... Public hearing was opened, and continued to the August 15, 1996 meeting. PUBLIC HEARING - VESTING TENTATIVE TRACT 5650 (PHASED) Staff report was gix~en. Applicant requested that this item be placed on the consent calendar. Public hearing was opened, and continued to the August 15th meeting. PUBLIC HEARING - VESTING TENTATIVE TRACT 5844 (PHASED) Staff' report recommending approval was given. Applicant requested that this item be placed on the consent calendar. Public hearing was opened, and continued to the August 15th meeting. PUBLIC HEARING - VESTING TENTATIVE TRACT 5845 (PHASED) Staff report was given. Applicant requested that this item be placed on the consent calendar. Public hearing was opened. Chairman Hersh asked if the signatures of the mineral rights owners have been obtained. Staff indicated they have not responded at this. time, but they need to respond prior to recordation of the map. This was continued to the Thursday night meeting. MINUTES, PC, 8/12/96 -7) PUBLIC HEARING - ORDINANCE AMENDMENT Staff report was given. Public hearing was opened. 8.1) Page 3 Chairman Hersh asked if some of this pertains to site plan review. Planning Director replied this is strictly a language change to bring the Subdivision Ordinance into compliance with state law. This was continued to the Thursday night meeting. GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY FINDING - WEST SIDE OF MADISON DRIVE BETWEEN CASA LOMA DRIVE AND WATTS DRIVE NORTH OF THE AIRPORT 8.2) R~AY Staff requested this be placed on the consent calendar, and the staff report was given. Public hearing was opened, and continued to the Thursday night meeting. GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY FINDING - EAST SIDE OF AKERS ROAD 8.3) BETWEEN PINEWOOD LAKE DRIVE AND ALUM AVENUE Staff requested this item be placed on the consent calendar, and the staff report was given. Public hearing was opened, and continued to the Thursday night meeting. GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY FINDING - VACATION OF "G" STREET RIGHT- 8.4) OF-WAY BETWEEN CALIFORNIA AVENUE AND 14TH STREET Staff requested this item be continued to the September 5, 1996 meeting. GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY FINDING - SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SOUII-I MT. VERNON AVENUE AND BELLE TERRACE AVENUE Staff requested this item be placed on the consent calendar, and the staff report was given. Public hearing was opened, and continued to the Thursday night meeting. COMMUNICATIONS A) Written None B) Verbal None COMMISSION COMMENTS Chairman Hersh commented that he enjoyed the presentation made by MTIS and asked if staff had lined up another presentation. Planning Director replied they have one scheduled for September 5th.
